Mrs. Betty Sue Lockhart, age 58 of Empire died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 22, 2013 at Little Vine Baptist Church with burial in Little Vine Cemetery.  Rev. Jared Corley will officiate.  Visitation will be 6:00 PM Thursday at the church. 

Preceding her in death were her son, Terry Tolbert; parents, J.T. and Evelynn Tolbert; and brothers, Donald Tolbert and Jack Tolbert.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Rhodes of Empire; son, James E. Lockhart of Empire; daughter, Betty Lockhart of Mt. Olive; brothers, Otto Tolbert and wife, Karen of Empire and Ronald Tolbert and his wife, Terry of Jasper; sister, Vickie Sue Ward and her husband, Owen of Curry; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
